Meeting called to order by Vice-President Gerald Ratliff

Reading of the minutes of the Central Chapter, 17 December 2014 meeting was presented for approval. Motion made to accept as read, seconded, and accepted.

Treasures report submitted and read for approval by Treasurer Dan Elderbroom,
Motion made to accept as read, seconded, and accepted. Copy is on file with secretary.

Old Business; Dan reported that due to the cost of stop payment request of a check it was decided that he would just wait until a full year that will automatically do it.

New Business;
• Treasure Dan Elderbroom reported the annual dues for the State NYHMA are ready for payment, this year we have received memberships that has an amount owed at $1200.00, motion made to pay as requested, seconded and accepted.
• Secretary noted that he will not be available for the next meeting and asked for someone to record the meeting information that is presented.

• WEB Page: Reported as operating as needed, it was reported that updates are coming. Jason is creating a contact email for those that are having trouble with the web page; the address will be available soon. It was also reported that a data entry person has been hired for a year and the membership information in it will be cleaned up and updated. If you’re having any issues with the web page, Dan will have an email address for next meeting.
• Summer Seminar; The contract from “On center” for the 2015 Summer Seminar is being checked over by a lawyer due to the extent of information within, a report will be submitted when completed. All registrations
• Sick Call; None reported
• State HMA; Information received from Jason Johnson contained, LED’s out that the state is considering, appeal letter is being revamped, and wheel chair decal.

NYSDOT; Not represented at this meeting.

Vendor Information;
• New York Bus Sales, Bob reported that Cummins has an update that is to correct the false codes that are generated for the DEF tank level; code information is available at Cummins web site. Codes 3547, 1673, and also 3567, 2168, 5278 will be covered under warranty.
• Matthews Buses, Jerry reported that Josh will be on the road locally as a “Customer Service Rep” in February and John Metzler currently is not working in the Syracuse office, all questions will be handled through the 1800#, Nichol for service and Donna for warranty.
• Frey HD Ben Wayne introduced himself and noted some in house updates.
• Leonard Bus Sales, Rob reported that they are putting a DPF cleaning package together where you bill once for 10 cleanings, more information next meeting.
• PDDA, Bill reported that if you’re in the need for a transmission contact him first to be sure you receive the correct offer for buses.
• WurthUSA, presented to issue of working with lead and lead wheel weights for balancing, if you need these removed contact him and they set up a removal program for your district.
• Stadium, Pat noted a special on “Power Service” products available at their facility.

Round Table:
• George, ESM questioned if there is a level in the DEF tank when it needs to be refilled, none reported. It was noted that the tank should not be too full to allow for expansion during freezing condition.
• Scotty, Carthage noted an issue with the electrical connections at the front frame rails, these need to be corrosion protected. Causing intermit electrical problems.
• Flashing dash lights, they found it is a dash issue and New York Bus and Blue Bird are working to correct the problem.

Next meeting will be sponsored by Leonard Bus Sales, also to be held at Barbagallo’s on 18 February 2015.
