Reading of the minutes of the Central Chapter, 18 February 2015 meeting were presented for approval. Motion made to accept as read, seconded, and accepted.

Treasures report submitted and read for approval by Treasurer Dan Elderbroom,
Motion made to accept as read, seconded, and accepted. Copy is on file with secretary.

Old Business;
•Discussion of prizes to be awarded at the 2015 Summer Seminar, motion made to award 2 (two) gift cards valued at $200.00 each that will be given at the close of the 2015 Summer Seminar. Motion was seconded and accepted.
•Information on the "Emergency Contact Phone Book" was presented and with the data available we are going ahead with printing. If there is any other district that would like to be included they need to get the information to the secretary ASAP.

New Business;
•Discussion took place on the door prizes that were awarded to Baldwinsville CSD at last year's Summer Seminar from Leonard Bus Sales, It appears that the Baldwinsville District does not allow attendees to receive gifts. The consideration is what B-ville (Dana) and Leonard Bus (Earl) would like to proceed with giving the items away. Dan has the gifts and when B-ville and Leonard Bus decide Dan will report back. No action taken.

•Summer Seminar:
a.It's time to start organizing the staff for the 2015 program if you available to help in any capacity contact Dan there is many jobs that will need to be cover with the new facility.

b.The first mailing has gone out with the notification cards for vendors and the second will follow soon. 26 tables have been reserved to this date.

c.The attendees registration forms will be mailed or sent out on or about April 1st, Paypal and credit card service will be a available this year due to some inquiries last year.

d.Parking was discussed there will be two location across the street from the Oncenter both open and the garage, these are the only locations that will have free parking for this event. There will be parking passes included in each attendees packet when signing in, if there is any question see Dan Elderbroom or the assigned staff member.

e.The vendors are advised that any fuel powered equipment presented for the displays must contain no more the 1/4 tank of fuel, the Fire Marshall will be checking before program, any questions contact Dan or assigned staff member. Parking and check in of vehicles will be early Wednesday, so the rest of displays set up. All vendors that have displays need to contact Dan for exact time and requirements.

f.Dan reported that Jason noted the following presenters at this time, Cummins Engine, Morabito Fuel Services, Promac and NYDOT (Accident Reporting Procedures) Mike explained what he needs to complete a lesson plan to present to his upper command for the OK including a request letter to NYDOT. Don noted that there is many questions on this DMV licensing with interstate or intra state and could DMV be present?

•Sick Call; None reported

•State HMA; Jason sent the following information;
Appeals to DOT infractions procedure that is being organized to fine tune what is in place. Discussion on what is the purpose of this took place Mike explained what his stand is on this information. June the "Profile Report" will be issued. Report of the side airbag curtain and the effect it will or could have on the new commercial vehicles converted to passage carrying styles. Required use of seat belts on school busses were discussed and effect it would have. LUX meter for light brightness is being tested by NYDOT to see if it could be used in the field for LED lighting requirements of out of service criteria. Wheel tie down standards were discussed with regards proper securing of wheelchair and occupant, the affected program is "WC18 & WC19"

NYSDOT: Mike reported that a regional letter will be sent out to Region 3 districts to explain the Bus Accident Reporting procedures. This includes a bus breakdown where students need to be transfer on the highway or road side. Mike noted the recommendations that he is will be trying to present to them to help streamline the reporting of these incidents.

Vendor Information:
•Rob, Leonard Busses has a "Spring Parts Promo" & DPF Program is available.
•Jason Matthews Buses reported that they have a program in place to move the door control from operators left side to right side for better control and visibility of entrance door by drive.
•Bob, Bus Parts Warehouse has new flyer and a new 194 LED bulb
•George, NY Bus Sales New Ford Transit style bus will be available for demo soon.
•Gerry, Krown Product, introduced himself and their product line.

Round Table:
•Paul - Lowville the use of GPS by drivers for trips to unknown areas was questioned on how other district view the use of. It was noted by Mike Nuber that he feels that it fine as long it is NOT a distraction to the driver, others noted that they have units mount on the windshield surface out the line of sight, and others noted issue a map. Also noted was differences between automobile and a Commercial Vehicle GPS that may have contributed to the bus accident in Liverpool. Mike will forward a guideline that he has by email to central chapter and dan.

•Ed - Sandy Creek Blue Bird Buses window weather stripping on emergency door tool is needed to install.
